It tells the story of free spirit Vincent who searchs for rush, meaning and freedom in his life. He always lives at the edge -

climbing, motorcycling, skydiving. He risks everything...

An inevitable accident brings him near to death.

And so he finds a new perspective.

In the end "free" becomes a film about freedom, love and life.
